RON JENKINS Bassist Ron Jenkins has just released his debut CD 'The Music of...' on Camnor Music. This CD has been referred to as Smooth Jazz with an Urban Flair. Joining Ron on his debut are guitarist Chuck Loeb, saxophonist Steve Wilson, guitarist Jeff Golub and saxophonist Sam Newsome. This is just a sample of the talent that has helped to make this recording a mixture of solid grooves and flowing melodies that will keep this CD spinning forever. Bassist Ron Jenkins is from Hampton, Va. where he began his musical career as a teenager performing in school & local bands, stage productions & shows.He received his B.A. in Music from Virginia Commonwealth University.
